Under the motto \u201cBatik &#8211; from Indonesia to the World\u201d, the event\u2019s concept was introduced in \u201cPasar Malam\u201d style that literally means night market. During the event, there are a lot of things offered from food, cultural performance, dance, and music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was organized in collaboration with Bilda, Indonesian Student Association in Sweden (PPI Swedia), and The Embassy of Republic Indonesia in Stockholm (KBRI Stockholm).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The highlight of the SIS event can be seen at:<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/?v=435039404068472\">https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/?v=435039404068472<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indonesian Bazaar (Pasar Malam) 2019 video by: Tutut Handayani<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event presented how rich and diverse Indonesia is in terms of cultural differences and uniqueness. Different regions present different people, different backgrounds and performances. Pencak Silat is the authentic Indonesian Traditional Martial Arts. The technique I demonstrated is called \u201cThe Minang Technique\u201d from Perisai Diri.
